§ 22-88. Solicitation prohibited.
No person shall act in the capacity of solicitant for any fare or business of any other nature; so called "starters" or information clerks are expressly prohibited and particularly in the public baggage claim area. This does not prohibit information being given from any properly identified booth or office. Soliciting through porters is prohibited; handling of baggage by any employee of a firm, or by any individual permit holder, is prohibited. During periods of active loading, all persons engaged in the purveying of public transportation shall remain in close proximity to their vehicles. The deputy director may, at his discretion, set physical limits for such persons.
