§ 22-44. Purchase of property.
The aviation board shall have full power, in accordance with law, to purchase movable property of all kinds and nature deemed by the board necessary for the exercise of its functions; provided, however, that, when practicable, purchases of movable property may be coordinated with the department of finance in order to secure the benefits of quantity purchases. Immovable property shall be acquired by the department of finance upon the recommendation of the department of property management. Plans for the improvement of the airport shall be approved by the city planning commission.
