§ 170-599. License and bond of garbage collector.

No person shall engage in the business of collecting garbage from any vessel within the Port of New Orleans unless he is approved and licensed as an authorized garbage collector by the department of health and until, as a condition precedent to being so licensed, he shall have furnished in favor of the city his bond, with good and solvent security, in the sum of $500.00, conditioned that he shall faithfully comply with the provisions of this article and all orders, rules and regulations promulgated by the department of health pursuant to the provisions hereof.
