§ 166-33. Rules and regulations; meetings; reports and recommendations.

The Vieux Carré Commission shall make such rules and regulations as it may deem advisable and necessary for the conduct of its affairs not inconsistent with the laws of the city and state. The commission shall meet at least quarterly, but meetings may be held at any time by the commission on the written request of any of the nine members or on the call of the chairman or the mayor. The commission shall make annual reports to the mayor and council containing a statement of its activities. It shall make its recommendations for the future, but recommendations may be made by the council to the commission at any time.
