§ 162-1532. Applicant qualifications.

An applicant for a heavy-duty tow truck zone shall comply or present substantial evidence of his intention and ability to comply with the minimum qualifications herein below listed. In any event, an applicant which has been determined by the superintendent of the department of police to be eligible for a zone shall within four days of such determination provide the superintendent of the department of police with copies of purchase orders for any equipment which must be purchased to meet equipment qualifications established herein. Any such equipment to be ordered must be available for service by the licensee within 90 days of a determination of zone eligibility. Failure to meet these deadlines may result in the loss of the applicant's eligibility.
