§ 162-387. Removal of renewal certificate.

Upon completion of the vehicular inspection, the department of safety and permits shall, if necessary, replace any for-hire vehicle renewal certificate previously issued for such vehicle with the proper for-hire vehicle renewal certificate, which shall be affixed to the windshield of the vehicle. If any vehicle is found defective at any time, the current for-hire vehicle renewal certificate shall be removed and a new for-hire vehicle renewal certificate shall not be issued until all defects found to exist have been corrected.
