§ 162-99. Vehicle certificate suspended or revoked.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle regulated by this chapter on the streets and public places of the city when the driver's permit or CPNC has been revoked or cancelled or during any period of suspension thereof as provided under this chapter.

    (b)

    No owner or operator of any for-hire vehicle whose CPNC or driver's permit has been revoked under the provisions of the laws of this city and state and who shall be domiciled in or operating such vehicle by virtue of a license or permit issued in some other parish of the state shall be allowed to transport passengers for hire on the streets of the city. Any such operation or attempted operation shall constitute a violation of this chapter.
