§ 158-939. Proximity of certain poles to awnings, etc.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to construct, erect, or hang sheds, awnings, or other structures of any kind or description within a distance of five feet of any pole supporting electrical fixtures, conductors or appliances when the potential between such fixture, conductor or appliance and the ground exceeds 150 volts. Any existing shed, awning or structure now in contact or within five feet of any pole supporting any such fixtures, conductors or appliances shall be removed or so reconstructed as to comply with the provisions of this section.
