§ 158-847. If connection found to exist public water to be cut off.

  • If the representatives of the sewerage and water board upon making inspection of any premises finds that a connection exists in violation of the provisions of this article, the sewerage and water board shall thereupon cease supplying with potable public water any person, political subdivision of the state or federal agency upon whose premises such connection is found to exist, unless and until such connection is disconnected so that there will be no further possibility of the commingling of the potable public water supply and any other water supply, the source of which is distinct from the potable public water supply.
