§ 158-288. Appearances personally or by representative.

  • Any party may appear in proper person and/or be represented by an attorney-at-law authorized to practice law before the supreme court of the State of Louisiana. A natural person whose interest in a matter arises in the course of his business may appear on his own behalf, or through a bona fide full-time employee who is his attorney in fact. A corporation, partnership or association may appear and be represented by any bona fide officer, partner, full-time employee, or other person presenting proof of his authority so to so appear. Any person appearing in a representative capacity before the council under this article other than as an attorney-at-law shall be required, in advance, to register with the clerk of council upon an appropriate form to be supplied by the clerk.
