§ 158-241. Conduct and decorum.

  • Every party, witness, attorney or other representative and every member of the public shall comport himself in all proceedings with proper dignity, courtesy and respect for the council, the clerk, and all other parties and persons present. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. Attorneys and other representatives of parties shall observe and practice the standards of ethical behavior prescribed for attorneys at law by the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana Supreme Court, and the Code of Civil Procedure. Any party, witness, attorney or other representative may be excluded by the council from any hearing for such period and upon such conditions as are just for violation of this rule, or may be subject to such other just, reasonable, and lawful disciplinary action as the council may lawfully prescribe.
