§ 158-236. Filing of documents.

  • All applications, petitions, complaints, motions, protests, replies, answers, notices, and other pleadings or filings relating to any proceeding pending or to be instituted before the council under this article, shall be an original in triplicate with the clerk of council. All such documents shall be deemed filed only when actually received by the clerk, accompanied by the filing fee, if any, required by statute, ordinance, rule, or order of the council. On the same day that the original, in triplicate, is filed with the clerk, the party making the filing shall serve copies, in triplicate, on each councilmember, the mayor, the city attorney, the director of the department of finance, the director of the council research staff, and the director of the council utilities regulatory office and shall serve a single copy thereof on each party of record to the proceeding.
