§ 158-49. Suspension of filing requirements.

In its sound discretion the council may suspend the operation of any provision of this article or modify them instanter to the extent authorized by the law, or after such proceedings and upon such conditions as it finds to be just and practicable, provided that any such suspension and modification shall be consistent with provisions of the home rule charter of the city.
