§ 154-1562. Enforcement.

(1)

The traffic bureau of the police department in accordance with section 154-58 of the Code of the City of New Orleans, NOLA Patrol, and the fire department shall have the power to enforce the provisions of this article.

(2)

Notice of the provisions of this article shall be given to the owner or operator of vehicles covered by this article at the time of the yearly inspection pursuant to Chapter 154 Article XI.

(3)

Any person who desires to register a complaint under this article may do so by contacting the City's 311 Service Center.

(4)

The French Quarter Management District may seek to obtain voluntary compliance with this article by means of publicity and education programs where appropriate.

(5)

The department of public works shall develop and install signs at entry points to the Vieux Carré that indicate the limitations on the operation of trucks within the Vieux Carré and the penalty for failure to comply with the limitations.
