§ 154-1423. Disposition of unclaimed individual small vehicle.

All unclaimed, unidentified, or abandoned individual small vehicles, including bicycles, in the possession or custody of the department shall be held for a period of not less than 45 days. Storage fees may be assessed at a rate of up to $100.00 per day. Thereafter, such individual small vehicles, including bicycles, may be sold at a fair price or may be donated to a nonprofit organization or agency serving the children of the parish, as permitted by law.
