§ 154-870. Parking in a service zone.
(a)
No person shall stop or park a vehicle for any purpose or period of time, other than for the expeditious completion of repair or service work in any place signed as a service zone. No vehicle shall use a service zone unless it meets the definition of a service or equipment vehicle.
(b)
If a vehicle meets the definition of a service vehicle, it will be allowed to remain in a service zone for a maximum of one hour.
(c)
If a vehicle meets the definition of an equipment vehicle, it will be allowed to remain in the service zone until the repair work is completed.
(d)
At the discretion of the parking administrator, service zones may be in effect on a limited basis as indicated by signs.
(e)
A service zone may be used for the expeditious receiving or discharging of passengers when such stopping does not interfere with a vehicle waiting to enter, entering or using such zone for the performance of repair or service work.
