§ 154-312. Unlawful use of registration certificate or license plate.

  • (a)

    No person shall sell or lend a registration certificate or license plate to any other person for use on a vehicle other than that for which it was issued.

    (b)

    No person shall attach a license plate to any other vehicle other than that for which it was issued.

    (c)

    No person shall display or represent as his own registration certificate or license plate not issued or lawfully transferred to him, or drive a vehicle to which same is attached.

    (d)

    No person shall permit the unlawful use of a registration certificate or license plate.
