§ 14-11. Criteria for granting exemptions to the unassigned seating prohibition.

  • In determining whether an event shall be exempt from the prohibition in section 14-9, the superintendent of police, or his designated agent, shall consider the following factors: The facility where the event is to be scheduled; the size, age and anticipated conduct of the audience; and the hazard to the health, safety and welfare of participants, spectators and the community associated with exempting this particular event. Applications for exemptions to section 14-9 shall be filed with the superintendent of police, or his designated agent, at least 30 calendar days prior to the event date.
