§ 146-500. Unloading goods on streets, etc.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to encumber or obstruct any of the streets, gutters, public roads, public grounds, public squares, public places or promenades, banquettes or sidewalks of the city by depositing in or on them any box, bale, hogshead, barrel or other goods, wares or merchandise or article whatsoever, except for the necessary time of loading or unloading such articles. No merchandise shall be packed or unpacked on any sidewalk.
