§ 122-146. Removal of track on expiration of privilege.

The grantee shall notify the council, in writing, 60 days prior to the expiration of the term of any switch track privilege granted under the provisions of this division if the grantee desires to renew the privilege. If the application for renewal of the utility privilege is not received by the council by the time stated the director of the department of public works shall notify the grantee to remove the switch track from the public place and to restore the location to a condition satisfactory to the city within 30 days from such notice and if the grantee shall fail to do so the city engineer shall have such switch track removed from the public place and restore the location in question to a satisfactory condition. The cost of such removal and restoration shall be borne by the grantee.
