§ 122-10. Consumption of food and beverages on public transit vehicles prohibited.
Consumption of foodstuffs or beverages on any public transit vehicle, other than chartered transit service, is prohibited. It is unlawful for any driver of a public transit vehicle to permit such an offense. No metal or glass containers of any type, for the purpose of transporting, containing, or serving foodstuffs and/or beverages, shall be allowed on chartered transit vehicles. Nothing in this section shall be construed as to prevent a driver of any transit vehicle from consuming foodstuffs and/or beverages, while the transit vehicle is parked at the end of the transit line, and not in motion.
