§ 114-193. Offset for workers' compensation or social security.
If a member's spouse or other beneficiary receives a benefit under section 114-188 and also receives workers' compensation benefits, Social Security benefits or compensatory benefits under a similar laws:
A.
Any such benefit or allowance payable on account of an accidental death shall be offset by the amount of workers' compensation or similar benefits representing income replacement, excluding any amount that is allocable to such member's medical expenses.
B.
Notwithstanding any offset permitted hereunder, any benefit payable from the system shall not be less than the actuarial equivalent of his member account, determined as of the date of his disability.
C.
The trustees shall possess the authority to administer any offset or reduction described herein. The decision of the trustees as to the amount and time of any offset shall be final and binding.
