§ 114-174. Member account refund.

  • If a member dies before he has received the balance of his member account, whether in the form of an accidental disability retirement allowance or an ordinary disability retirement allowance, his beneficiary shall be paid the balance of such account in the form of a single-sum, which payment shall be made not later than the last day of the calendar year that includes the fifth anniversary of the member's date of death.
