§ 114-94. Membership of parochial and judicial employees.

Employees and officials of a judicial or parochial office of the Parish of Orleans who are otherwise eligible within the meaning of section 114-57 may apply for membership in the system, provided:

A.

The trustees have approved such judicial or parochial office as an employer hereunder, and such office has agreed to contribute its respective employer contributions.

B.

No such official or employee is required to be covered by another pension or system established under the laws of this state.

C.

As a condition of such application, each official or employee shall consent to the deduction of member contributions from his contribution compensation.

The trustees shall adopt such additional procedures for membership as they deem necessary or appropriate.
