§ 114-37. Appropriations.

Prior to making any appropriation for self-insurance health care programs, the city shall cause an actuarial investigation to be made of the amount of city funds needed for each city self-insurance program for the fiscal year for which funds are to be appropriated, such investigation to estimate total claims for each self-insurance program; employee contributions, if applicable; net estimated city cost; and recommended reserves for unanticipated losses.
