§ 106-261. In custody of parkway and park commission.

The custody of that square of ground in the city known as Jackson Square is hereby placed in the parkway and park commission of the city, in accordance with the provisions of the charter, which grants to the parkway and park commission the administration and control of all parks within the city. The parkway and park commission shall have entire charge of such square in the same manner as was formerly vested in the board of curators of the Louisiana State Museum.
