§ 106-227. Permit required for peddling flowers.

No itinerant peddler shall peddle or hawk azaleas, camellias or any flowers, flowering or ornamental plant or shrub within the city without first obtaining a permit from the department of safety and permits of the city. No permit shall be issued until the applicant can show a certificate from the parkway and park commission showing that these plants and flowers were grown by the vendor or obtained in a legitimate way and are being moved and sold according to law.
