In connection with the duties of the department of parks and parkways, the superintendent
of police is hereby authorized to grant enforcement and citation powers, in accordance
with section 4-502(2) of the charter, to those department of parks and parkways employees designated
to him, in writing, by the director of the department of parks and parkways, for the
purpose of obtaining compliance with all city ordinances as they relate to those golf
courses maintained by the department of parks and parkway. Such powers, which may
be granted by the superintendent of police, shall be in addition to the normal enforcement
and citation powers of the police department.
