§ 106-1. Trespass in Woldenberg Riverfront Park.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to commit the crime of trespass in Woldenberg Riverfront Park.

    (b)

    The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this section, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this subsection, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning.

    (1)

    Premises of Woldenberg Riverfront Park is defined as the area bounded by the Mississippi River, including structures, docks or wharves built over the river, the enclosed portion of the Aquarium of the Americas at Number 1 Canal Street on the downtown side of Canal Street, the Mississippi River side of the Public Belt railroad tracks running parallel to the Mississippi River and including the area known as the moonwalk to the southwest edge of the Governor Nicholls Street wharf from the Public Belt Railroad tracks to the Mississippi River.

    (2)

    Trespass in Woldenberg Riverfront Park is the intentional, unauthorized entry upon the premises of Woldenberg Riverfront Park or remaining upon the premises of Woldenberg Riverfront Park by a person when he knows his entry or remaining upon the premises is unauthorized or under circumstances where he reasonably should know his entry or remaining upon the premises is unauthorized.

    (c)

    The premises of Woldenberg Riverfront Park shall be posted in areas of ingress and egress with signs indicating at what hours of the day or night that entry to or remaining upon the premises is prohibited without authorization.
